My Story

For many years I worked in drama, theatre and education, helping people discover the confidence to express themselves through voice, movement and performance.

Again and again, I saw that the greatest challenge wasn't talent–it was self-belief. People often knew what they wanted to say but struggled to say it with confidence, especially when the stakes felt high.

That understanding led me to train as an ICF coach and combine professional coaching with my background in communication, theatre and voice.

Today I help people communicate with authenticity, presence and courage–whether they're preparing for a presentation, leading a difficult conversation, speaking in public or simply wanting to feel more like themselves when they speak.

My coaching is practical, encouraging and tailored to each individual, creating a space where people can build confidence that lasts.

My Background

My approach brings together professional coaching with many years of experience in theatre, communication and education.

I am an ICF-trained coach and have spent my career helping people develop confidence, presence and authentic communication. My work has included teaching drama, directing productions, facilitating workshops at Chichester Festival theatre, running my own theatre company 'Chalkpath' and supporting people of all ages to find their voice.

Today, I combine these experiences to help individuals and organisations communicate with greater confidence, authenticity and impact.

Values

The principles behind the work.

Authenticity

The voice you already have is the one we're looking for.

Presence

Every communication skill downstream begins with being here.

Connection

Communication is not a broadcast. It's a meeting.

Courage

Speaking simply, and speaking truly, is a brave act.

Clarity

Say what you mean – precisely, warmly, without armour.

Craft

Considered, quietly rigorous work on how you speak and listen.

Overcome the notion that you must be regular. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary.

What I Believe

I believe everyone deserves to feel heard.

When we communicate with authenticity and presence, we create stronger relationships, greater confidence and deeper connections with the people around us.

My role isn't to change who you are. It's to help you uncover the confidence, clarity and presence that are already there, so you can communicate as your authentic self.

Shall we speak?

The first conversation is always complimentary, and never a pitch.
